Today was a sad day as the turntables were put into retirement. I can't stand the clutter on my table anymore. A two hour jam session this morning had one of my neighbors quite upset. I tried to explain the occasion but he wasn't buying it. Ah well. The rest of the morning was a mad dash around the house be beat the Pasadena heat wave which would start around 11. Didn't quite make it and decided to cool off a bit by washing my dirty ass truck. Later we headed to L.A. for brunch at Pann's on LaTijera. Their chicken and waffles are worth the 30 minutes it takes get there. Roscoe's who? Coincidentally my grandparents showed up and joined us with conversation how its increasingly impossible to afford a decent house within a 15 mile radius of Downtown L.A. They actually agreed for once. The rest of the day went from a quick Kid Robot run on the Promenade then Jamba Juice for a Citrus Squeeze (no boost) then all the way up PCH in attempts of avoiding the oven at the end of the 110 freeway. Came back to watch Valentino Rossi finally win a race then dinner at Saladang. Somehow its 10:00 already...
